Cantina Raina ist ein eher junges und nicht allzu großes Weingut in Umbrien, 2002 gegründet und ca. 10 Hektar Reben werden bewirtschaftet. Besitzer Francesco Mariani ist studierter Philosoph, ihm steht sein Freund und Mitarbeiter Andrea Mattioli zur Seite, um hervorragende Weine in biodynamischer Anbauweise zu produzieren. Alles ist hier durchdacht und auf Schonung der Umwelt ausgelegt, 70% des Strombedarfs erzeugt man mit Solarzellen, der restliche Bedarf kommt aus externen erneuerbaren Energiequellen.
