Here you will find all our wines from non-European countries in South America, South Africa, Australia and more recently New Zealand. The ideal for the winegrowers of these countries were mostly the wines of France, whose varieties such as Cabernet Sauvignon, Merlot or Syrah (= Shiraz) dominate the red wines. But many regions and producers have emancipated themselves long time ago from their predecessors and developed their own wine-style. The standard of production techniques is by no means at least the same as in Europe. By no means should one suppose the assumption that wines from overseas is industrial mass production in any case. There are small family wineries, too, who produce hand-crafted wines at highest world-class level.
