The Stump Jump is a plow, the eye test from the label is dedicated to the original operator of this plow who is said to have had poor eyesight. The Stump Jump Syrah offers an enormous amount of wine for little money. It has a ruby red color. The nose is full of cherry and blackberry fruits that continue on the palate. What distinguishes this Shiraz is the intensity of this ripe fruit, which is just as intense in the finish as when the wine first hit the tongue. The finish is long and well balanced.
