New Zealand

New Zealand is traditionally better known for its white wines. In recent decades, however, this innovative wine country has increasingly attracted international attention to its red wines.

The rather cool climate of New Zealand is particularly suitable for Pinot Noir, which now occupies 15% of the vineyard area and is therefore the second most cultivated grape in the country, behind the unrivaled Sauvignon Blanc. Beautiful wines are made here from Merlot and even from Cabernet Sauvignon, just waiting to be discovered.
