Chateau la Nerthe - Rhone

Chateau la Nerthe is one of the great traditional wineries in the Chateauneuf-du-Pape area. Five centuries of history in the heart of Provence. The magnificent castle dates from the 18th century. A whopping 92 hectares of vines with all four common soil types of Chateauneuf, as well as all 13 approved grape varieties belong to the property. The wines have been organically certified since 1998. The plots are fermented separately as far as possible in order to then make the final composition of the wines. It is usually matured in 600L barrels, so-called demi-muids. In addition to the various white and red Chateauneufs, they also produce a red and white Côtes-du-Rhône Villages called Les Cassagnes, which grows in Tavel.
