The Grüner Veltliner Axpoint grows in the municipality of Spitz, at the foot of the famous Singerriedel site on a gently rising slope with clay and primary rock soils with a loess layer, which is partially terraced. An ideal terroir for this most typical of all Austrian grape varieties. The Axpoint from FJ Gritsch has a classic structure, with fine acidity and medium-weight body, as well as fine mineral components, which makes the wine concentrated and yet light-footed. Pine needles and ripe pome fruit can be seen in the aromas. On the palate it is very powerful and playful, mineral elegance paired with body. A Veltliner play like a picture. A great accompaniment to Wiener Schnitzel!
