The Viré-Clessé grows in the villages of the same name in the heart of Maconnais in southern Burgundy . The Chardonnay vines grow here on a slight slope with an ideal south-east orientation. The Chanson Pere & Fils Viré-Clessé combines the creamy mouthfeel of a typical Burgundian with fine minerality, aromas of grapefruit and fresh honey are found in the bouquet. It has a nice tension in the long lasting aftertaste.
