Joseph Drouhin is one of the most important wine producers in Burgundy. Founded in 1880 and since 1987 also active in Oregon, USA, where Chardonnay and Pinot Noir, the same grape varieties as in Bourgogne, dominate.
In addition to the important vineyard property of 73 hectares, about two thirds of which are Premier Cru and Grand Cru vineyards, wines are also made from contract winegrowers or lots are bought from charity auctions, the famous Hoscpices wines. Through many contracts with winemakers, Drouhin offers a comprehensive portfolio of Burgundy, from Chablis to Beaujolais.
