The Bollinger rosé brut needs a dosage of 7 to 8 grams per liter to achieve the best balance because of its full-bodied style. It comes mainly from sites classified as 1er Cru and consists of the champagne vines Pinot Noir, Chardonnay and Pinot Meunier. To increase strength, color and structure, Bollinger adds 5-6% red wine to the rosé.
The scent of Bollinger Rosé Brut is reminiscent of aromas such as cherries, red currants and strawberries. The taste is full-bodied, full-bodied and with fine perlage, the hint of tannin from the red wine gives this first-class champagne a fine structure. Big stuff!
