The Chablis Les Preuses is the northernmost Grand Cru location. Chanson owns a parcel here in the heart of the vineyard. The expansion takes place in wooden barrels for 12-14 months, the proportion of new wood is moderate. The bouquet features aromas of citrus fruits and flowers, as well as a hint of vanilla. On the palate it has a lot of volume and depth, is clear as a line, in the long finish it is reminiscent of limes. 2019 was an incredibly powerful and extract-rich vintage that is rarely found in Chablis. However, the wines are very rare due to the small harvest.
