The Grüner Veltliner from the Salzl family has been one of our best-selling white wines for years. This charmer has a nice freshness and leaves a pleasantly creamy taste impression, it is always lively due to its dynamic, mature acidity.
The bouquet of this Burgenland Grüner Veltliner shows aromas of apples, pears, a little elderflower, white pepper and a fine herbal spice. Its fine play of fruit and the perfect balance characterize the taste, in the long-lasting finale it ends softly and lively. A wonderful all-purpose Veltliner for almost no money.
Ideal as a soloist or as a companion to Austria classics such as Wiener Schnitzel or Backhendl (fried chicken), but also fish, vegetable dishes (asparagus!) and pasta with white sauces.
