The two hectares of 1er Cru Chassagne-Montrachet Chenevottes of the Domaine Chanson are in the immediate vicinity of most famous of all Burgundy white wine locations, the "Le Montrachet". The Chenevottes is an east facing vineyard, which brings out the clarity and aromatic coolness to the Chardonnay wines. 12 months barrique maturation with a moderate proportion of new casks give it its typical Burgundian touch and that noblesse that the whole wine world values as an ideal.
2021 is a classic Burgundy vintage with clear and cool fruit, the best balance, freshness and plenty of extract. All components complement each other excellently and at a very high level, the wines have a very good ageing potential.
