Marsannay is the northernmost AOP of the Côte d'Or, or Côte de Nuits in Burgundy . Since the wines from Marsannay are in the shadow of their famous neighbors, the price level is still very pleasing. The Marsannay 2017 from Chanson was aged 12 months in small oak barrels, 30% of which were new. This gives it natural power even more complexity and spice. An exquisite Pinot Noir full of grace and finesse.
