The Wittmann Riesling dry from limestone lies hierarchically between the “Estate” and the local wines. The vines for the limestone are in the top locations of Kirschspiel and Morstein. These are grapes from the best location that have been graded, but are still of very high quality.

2021 was not an easy year, but ultimately a very good one for Rieslings. The cooler weather with slower ripening played into the hands of this vine. The Riesling from the limestone has a cutting elegance. The beautiful clarity and precision, with the finest "Cool Climate" aromas delight fans of this noble grape variety.
This wine has now reached its first drinking stage and will bring great pleasure for many years to come. The winery itself sums it up to the short and perfectly fitting formula: Mineral - salty - peach.
