The Höllenbrand is, quite contrary to its name, the coolest of Wittmann's top locations. The wines here are whiter fruity than the other crus and are very clear and full of finesse. A quiet Riesling with a lot of noblesse.
2021 was a very good Riesling year. Low yield, but with fresh and grippy wines that do not lack depth and should have a long lifespan. Parker gives 92/100 points for the 2021 Gundersheimer Riesling.
