The Valpolicella Classico DOP is the fruity, delicious red wine for every day from Speri Viticultore. It consists of the traditional grape varieties of Veneto, the largest part is Corvina Veronese, plus 30% Rondinella and 10% Molinara. The vines grow in the classic pergola training, the vineyards are at an altitude of 120 to 350 meters, in the three municipalities of San Pietro in Cariano, Fumane and Negrar, located between Lake Garda and the city of Verona.
The Valpolicella Classico from Speri tastes excellent young when its fruit is still full of juice. It has a ruby red color with violet reflections, its intense aromas are reminiscent of violets and cherries, on the palate it is fruity but relatively dry, it avoids the high residual sugar content, which is unfortunately not uncommon in many parts of Italy today, and the wines are broad and banal makes it taste good.
This fresh red wine is a universal accompaniment to meals. Also ideal for buffets and parties, as it adapts to many dishes and rarely appears dominant. Many people simply like it very much.
The class of 2022 has already received a variety of positive awards. Falstaff magazine gives it an excellent 91/100 points and writes: "Bright, transparent ruby red. Finely drawn bouquet, with hints of sour cherries, marzipan and violets. Bright and clear in the drink, with a crisp fruit note, distinctive acidity, runs through precisely, right up to the slightly salty finale."
