You could also describe the Burrweiler Riesling from Schiefer von Rebholz as the second wine from Schäwer Grosses Gewächs. Lots harvested earlier, often from younger vines, are selected for this purpose, very good grape material, which is not quite enough for the GG, but has all the characteristics of the first-class vineyard.
This wine has only recently been in the Economierat Rebholz range; it is only the second vintage. As usual with this winery, the wine is pleasantly dry, can be stored, even requires aging and is extremely fine and stimulating.
