The Pinot Grigio (=Pinot Gris or Ruländer) from the Terlan Winery or Cantina Terlano smells of ripe pears, lychees and honeydew melons, and also a delicate floral note, as if from one freshly mown flower meadow is noticeable. On the palate it combines the typical alpine freshness with the creamy fullness of the Pinot Grigio, the wine is perfectly balanced and has a good extract in the smooth and long finish. Very good!
Already in the “Tradition” baseline, the Terlan winery underlines its reputation as one of the best wine producers in South Tyrol. The care in the preparation begins with the harvest and selection by hand and you allow a full 6-7 months to let the wine mature on the fine lees before it is bottled.
