The Graham Beck Méthode Cap Classique Brut is made from 51% Chardonnay and 49% Pinot Noir. These Burgundy varieties are also preferred in Champagne and produce sparkling wines rich in finesse. The Chardonnay provides fruit and elegance, the Pinot Noit the structure.
The grapes grow in the various subzones of the Western Cape in South Africa, they are picked by hand and fermented, developed and made into sparkling wine at Graham Beck in Robertson.
As is typical for high-quality sparkling wines, the Méthode Cap Classique also exudes a fine yeast note, the fruit is reminiscent of limes and pears. On the palate with elegant and persistent perlage and invigorating freshness, the aromas of the bouquet are reflected in the long finish. A very good sparkling wine that meets the tastes of many people.
