The Grosses Gewächs Felsenberg has the additional designation named “Felsentürmchen” internally at Dönnhoff, as the plot in question is located below this turret shown on the label. Only the name Felsenberg is officially classified as GG, which is why it appears on the label.
2022 was a ripe vintage with rather soft and fruity wines, which makes the mineral restraint that is usual in Felsenberg a little friendlier in its youth than in cool years such as 2021. So it is a relatively charming rock tower from Hermann Dönnhoff Winery. A Riesling that will certainly give you great pleasure for two decades.

Quote Falstaff: "Tangerine and blood orange in the scent, some bergamot, fragrant, halfway to development.
