The Domaines Ott is a success story of a family from Alsace who moved to Provence in 1896 to produce wine. Today Ott is one of the really big names for Provençal rosé. The quality and appreciation for this wine category has been raised to levels that were unthinkable just a few decades ago.
Clos Mireille is one of the wineries of Domaines Ott (hence Plural Domaines) . It is located between Saint-Tropez and Toulon, very close to the coast, which gives the soil a certain saltiness that influences the character of the wine. The typical vines of Mediterranean France such as Grenache Noir, Cinsault and Syrah grow in this terroir.
The Clos Mireille Rosé Côtes de Provence is an elegant and fine type that offers aromas such as mango, melon and citrus fruits. With all its delicacy and freshness, this first-class rosé is also really powerful and long in the finish, attributes that every great wine has. At Domaines Ott, rosé is indeed taken to a new dimension. Rose heaven!
