Château Branaire-Ducru has been on the rise for years. In terms of quality, many illustrious neighbors have now been overtaken and are close to the superstars in Saint-Julien, but in terms of price they are still a long way off. This makes Branaire-Ducru an exceptionally good value.
The 2020 vintage was the third top vintage in a row. Another warm year with early budding, but the water reserves were well filled due to the heavy rainfall in winter 2019/20, so that the vines survived the heat waves in summer well. The result was an excellent Branaire Ducru with perfect balance at an extremely high level. Maybe even the best of all time.
