The Cava brut Reserva Extremarium is made with Chardonnay, Xarel.lo, Macabeo and Parellada grapes. Mont Marcal even ages the Chardonnay in wooden barrels, an effort that only few producers do. After 15 months of storage, it is released. This Cava is not only an aperitif, it can also be enjoyed to spicy and intense dishes such as cheese, Spanish ham or oysters and caviar. It has a very fine mousse and a good extract, aromas such as coffee, vanilla, peach and grapefruit can be discovered, in the lively and intense finale it reminds of almonds and hazelnuts.
