This champagne is often referred to as the Ace of Spades, which underlines the brand's recognition value.
It is all the more astonishing how quickly this brand was able to establish itself in the luxury segment. The Cattier family created this brand in 2000 with the aim of making the best possible champagne in the world. The actual success story started in 2006, when the rapper Jay-Z presented the champagne Armand de Brignac in his music video "Show Me What You Got" and thus gained a lot of attention for the brand. JAY-Z was so impressed with the quality of the champagne that he acquired the brand from the Cattier family. The Armand de Brignac Champagne GOLD is a luxury product in the premium segment. The highest quality standards are implemented during production. From the carefully selected grapes from the very best vineyards in Champagne, only the Tête de Cuvée, i.e. the best part of the pressing, is used. The typical Champagne vines Chardonnay, Pinot Noir and Pinot Meunier are used in the Ace of Spades Gold, which is characterized by a mature and full-bodied style and is considered by many journalists to be the brand's best cuvée. The cuvée always consists of three vintages to compensate for vintage differences and to ensure a consistent taste profile. The Armand de Brignac Gold shows aromas of ripe citrus fruits, nuts and brioche.
