The 1000 Eimerberg is an extremely steep site with a gradient of up to 70% in the village of Spitz, which owes its name to the annual yield of a good vintage. By the way, a bucket holds 56 liters. The winery Gritsch owns plots with old Riesling vines here, which are particularly rich in finesse and deep > produce wines.
The 2021 vintage is considered outstanding in the Wachau. The 1000 Bucket Mountain from Gritsch is full-bodied, with an excellent structure and good extract. The Gritsch Federspiel Riesling 1000 Eimerberg has citrus notes such as oranges in the bouquet, plus white fruits that go perfectly with the lively character of the wine. A Wachau classic with animating drinking flow and some aging potential.
