The Studio Rosé, named after the recording studio of the Miraval's previous owner, jazz pianist Jacques Loussier, is the second wine of the Château Miraval. Plots of young vines or tanks that are not quite sufficient for the requirements of the Miraval Rosé come into the "Studio" cuvée. In addition, the Syrah is replaced by the Provenceal variety Tibouren in the blend and, in addition to stainless steel tanks, egg-shaped concrete tanks are also used as fermentation vessels, in which the fine yeast circulates gently, creating a kind of natural circulation that gives the wine a nice fullness and creaminess . Of course, we work here with the same care and the same high-quality winemaking methods as we are used to from the Perrin family. The wine is just a tad lighter than its big brother, but just as delicious.
The Studio Rosé has a pale pink color, which is currently en vogue. Its elegant scent is reminiscent of citrus fruits, strawberries and white flowers. On the palate it is well balanced between body and freshness, the aromas of the fragrance are found in the long-lasting aftertaste. An enchanting rosé.
