Immel Biowein is a company founded by Philipp Wittmann and his chef winemaker Georg Rieser with the aim of creating inexpensive and drinkable organic wines from Rheinhessen for a younger consumers.
The grapes for the Riesling Fass 68 are not from the Wittmann vineyards, but are organically grown by contract winegrowers. With every sip, you can feel the Wittmann house's knack for making high-quality wines. This is pure Riesling, but in an uncomplicatedly drinkable way, the acidity is ripe, the wine has lots of fruit and charm.
