With the 2020 vintage, Julien Schaal expanded its portfolio to include other grape varieties than Riesling. So we can enjoy this first-class Gewürztraminer from the Grand Cru vineyard Kaefferkopf in Ammerschwihr, north of Colmar. The Kaefferkopf is ideal for this fragrant grape variety, which is why around 60% is planted with it.
Julien Schaal also masters this variety with flying colors and bottled a fragrant and intense white wine that is always in the best balance. The price-quality ratio is exceptionally good.
