TheDon Bepo is a relatively light and fresh, fruity dry white wine from Seewinkelhof Salzl. It is a cuvée made from the grape varieties Sauvignon Blanc, Welschriesling, Bouvier and some Yellow Muscat for the fragrance. This wine comes onto the market shortly after the harvest; it is also best in the early stages, when the fruit is still full of juice. Light, aromatic, lively, stunningly drinkable and full of fruit.
The current edition of Don Bepo has a young-looking green-yellow color. The scent is characterized by Sauvignon Blanc and is reminiscent of gooseberries, apples, citrus fruits and a hint of elderflower. The combination of freshness and charm delights on the palate; the wine is always supple and yet dances over the tongue with a remarkable lightness. This white wine from Burgenland is wonderfully uncomplicated and always makes you want the next sip, and not just in summer.
You can serve it as an aperitif or terrace wine, but the Don Bepo from Salzl also cuts a fine figure as a food accompaniment. Try it with vegetable dishes, sea fish or summer salads, which can also contain fruit.
