TheDon Bepo is a relatively light and fresh-fruity dry white wine from the Seewinkelhof Salzl. It is a cuvée from the Rebsoretn Bouvier, Welschriesling, Sauvignon and some Muskateller for the fragrance. This wine hits the market soon after the harvest, it's also at its best early on when the fruit is still full of juice. Light, aromatic, lively, amazingly tasty and full of fruit.
The 2021 edition of Don Bepo has a young-looking green-yellow colour. The scent is reminiscent of gooseberries, apples, citrus fruits and a hint of elderflower. The combination of freshness and charm inspires on the palate, the wine is always supple and still dances over the tongue with remarkable lightness. This white wine from Burgenland is wonderfully uncomplicated and always makes you want to take the next sip, and not just in summer.
It can be served as an aperitif or terrace wine, but Salzl's Don Bepo also cuts a fine figure as an accompaniment to food. Try it with vegetable dishes, sea fish or summer salads, which may also contain fruit.
