This Chardonnay by Bon Courage Estate is called "unwooded", which means abandoning any type of wooden barrel contact during fermentation and ageing. This term is used by some wineries outside Europe to identify the fresh and fruity Chardonnay. Jacques Bruwer ages this wine for six months with the yeasts, which gives a better structure and more flavors. This Chardonnay shows scents of tropical like guava, also limes and a hint of pineapple. The palate is supple, dry and smooth, the aromas are reflected in the long-lasting finale. Very nice.
