Marco Fellugas Collio Chardonnay grows on hilly slopes with sandstone, limestone and clay soils. The vines are cooled in the summer by winds from the Alps, which gives the berries a fine aroma and perfect maturity without overheating. For this Chardonnay, no oak is used , so the wine retains its juicy fruitiness. To give it more structure, the wine was matured a few month on the yeasts and by its has a pleasant acidity, which adds freshness to the long finale.
