The Vignes de Nicole Reserve line is produced on Château Paul Mas in Nicole, west of the town of Montagnac in Languedoc. On clay and limestone soils, the grapes mature perfectly in the warm Mediterranean climate, to give this soft-fruity dry wine style, which makes the giant success of the Paul Mas wines.
To reach high quality, Michel Mas and his oenologist Richard Osborne believe in low yield of the vines. The Vignes de Nicole Cabernet Sauvignon / Merlot is a soft and fruity red wine, matured for 7 months in small oak barrels. Dark ruby red colour with a violet tint. It shows aromas of plums and currants, herbs, vanilla and a delicate chocolate note. Full-bodied, soft, round tannins and a long finale, where the fruitiness and the chocolate isnoticable again. An entirely more than satisfactory wine with the typical attributes of the Languedoc, prepared by master craftsman .
