The AOC Vinsobres is known for its Syrah a> appreciated. It grows here in the north of the southern Rhône at an altitude of approx. 300m, mostly on terraces. Here the terroir has the necessary coolness to give the Syrah finesse.
Therefore, the Syrah, which makes up around 50% of the cuvée, also plays an important role in the Perrin family's Vinsorbes Les Cornuds, which it characterizes with its stunning spiciness. The Grenache provides fullness and softness. A perfect interaction, which of course takes place at a particularly high level in a great vintage like 2020.
Weinwirtschaft magazine chose the 2017 Vinsobres by Perrin as the red wine of the year! We think 2018 and 2020 are clearly better than 2017.
