Chardonnay from Savigny-les-Beaune is rare. Pinot Noir actually dominates here. Chanson grew one of the few white Savigny-les-Beaune, it comes from 2.18 hectares of vines owned by Domaine Chanson, grown in the Location Hauts-Marconnets, a 1er Cru classified vineyard on the border with Beaune.

This enchanting white wine is rich in substance, allowing it to withstand 15 months of aging in small oak barrels. The result was a wine with floral aromas and spicy aromas, paired with the vanilla of the wooden barrel aging. On the palate it is lively, with well-integrated acidity and a complex and juicy aftertaste. Has real class!

2020 was the earliest harvest in history in Burgundy. Despite the warm year, a wonderful vintage emerged, stylistically more classic than its opulent predecessor, the wines are characterized by freshness, clarity, extract and elegance. The Haut-Marconnets 2020 smells of linden blossom and ripe yellow fruits such as peach and apricot, toasted bread and fine minerality. It is well balanced on the palate, precise with a lot of pressure.

Try this great Burgundy with pies, crustaceans, scallops, grilled fish or semi-hard cheeses.
