The Pinot Noir of the Domain Christian Salmon grows on the clayey limestone hills around the small village of Bué. The grapes are cold macerated for a few days to extract color and tannin from the berry skins. After the subsequent fermentation, a small part of the harvest is aged in small Burgundian oak barrels.
The Sancerre rouge 2018 has a fine aroma like raspberry and blackberry, also some sour cherry. In the taste it is a typical representative of the region, cool, structured, fresh and vibrant, the tannins are perfectly integrated. A very nice alternative to a Bourgogne.
