Mercurey is located in the Côte Chalonnaise, south of the Côte de Beaune. The Pinot Noir vines for this wine grow on clay and limestone soils, with a southeasterly slope. The Mercurey rouge from Chanson impresses with its fine wood notes and a stunning raspberry scent, has a great length and perfect harmony. You can enjoy it relatively young, but you can also store it for a few years in which it will continue to refine.
The excellent 2022 vintage is characterized on the one hand by high grape ripeness, but on the other hand it also has a wonderful clarity and freshness. Highly recommended!
