Mercurey is located in the Côte Chalonnaise, south of the Côte de Beaune. The Pinot Noir vines for this wine grow on clay and limestone soils, with a south-east slope. The Mercurey rouge by Chanson captivates with its fine wood notes and a stunning raspberry scent, has a great length and the perfect harmony. You can enjoy it relatively young, but you can also store it for a few years, during which time it will continue to refine.
The excellent 2020 vintage is characterized on the one hand by a high level of grape ripeness, but on the other hand also has a wonderful clarity and freshness. Highly recommended!
