Condrieu is home and still the benchmark for the Viognier grape variety. This vine grows perfectly on the steep slopes of the northern Rhône and produces quite fragrant and very characterful white wines. They can make wine at Perrin anyway, so this wine is something really great.
In order to keep the particularly warm and sunny year 2019 as fresh as possible, the Viognier was picked early. Partially vinified in oak barrels and partly in stainless steel tanks, the wine is very aromatic, with great tension and delicate aromas of white peach accented by subtle oak notes.
