Condrieu is the home and still the benchmark for the Viognier grape variety. This vine thrives perfectly on the steep slopes of the northern Rhône and produces very fragrant and very characterful white wines. You can make wine at Perrin anyway, so this wine is something very special.
In order to maintain maximum freshness in the particularly warm and sunny year of 2022, the Viognier was harvested early. Vinified partly in 225L wooden barrels and partly in stainless steel tanks, the wine is very aromatic, with great tension and delicate aromas of white peach, accentuated by subtle oak notes and floral nuances. On the palate, the creamy mouthfeel combined with the structure in the background delights. The Condrieu Les Alexandrins is opulent, but never wide. That's how Condrieu works!
