The excellent vintage 2018 at Château la Tour Carnet is a blend of 60% Merlot and 40% Cabernet Sauvignon. 2018 does not contain any Cabernet Franc. The result is a hedonistic Haut-Médoc with a pronounced dark color, a lot of opulent fruit, high concentration and wonderful softness in the very long finale. In Robert Parker's Wine Advocate, this great wine is rated with 90-92/100 points.
