The Tributo Carmenere grows on the black clay soils of the Colchagua Valley, which gives a unique character to the wine. Caliterra uses 100% barriques for this wine, 10% of which are new French barrels. The wine has a dark ruby color and a distinctively spicy scent, reminiscent of cloves, black pepper and licorice. On the palate it has a nice fullness and gentle tannins , in the long-lasting finale it shows a note of cocoa and fresh tobacco. Drinkable when young, but can also be stored.
