The Domaine de Gry-Sablon by Dominique Morel was founded by his great-grandfather in the early 1900s. The first two hectares were in Fleurie, this vineyard is still owned today. The vines there are on average a remarkable 65 years old, the steep vineyard with its pink granite soil is only worked manually. To give the delicate Gamay structure, 70% is processed in whole bunch pressing, 30% is destemmed. It is matured only in stainless steel, and sulphurisation is not carried out until bottling. A fine Fleurie that can be enjoyed young and has a ageing potential of approx. 7 years after the harvest.
