The Cuvée Anne by Domaine Mur-Mur-Ium is made predominantly of old Grenache Noir and Syrah vines. The basis of this wine are grapes of the hillside vineyard "le Limon", which contributes to the rich character of the Cuvée Anne with its limestone / clay soil. After harvesting by hand and the fermentation in the steel tanks, approximately 30% of the Syrah (ie 12% of the total wine) is matured in oak barrels, what gives additional complexity. Aromas of dark berries, cassis, herbs, chocolate, black olives and a delicate bouquet of vanilla are found in his bouquet. On the palate it has a great density without losing freshness, despite its 15.0% alcohol, since it has no overripeness or raisin taste. The very long-finale final is impressive.
