The Corton is the only red Grand Cru of the Côte de Beaune. Its wines are considered to be harsh and powerful, one should always give them a proper maturing time in the bottle. In the elegant vintage of 2016, Chanson produced a voluminous Corton with an intense fruit rich in extract and firm, ripe tannins, which give the wine plenty of grip and a long maturity. For 16 months, the wine aged in small oak barrels. A long-lasting Burgundy classic .
