great vintage 2016
Availability: 7 bottles

Chateau Martinet in St-Emilion is part of the extensive estate of the Pradel de Lavaux family, which owns nine châteaux in the Libournais.

Chateau Martinet was once a hunting lodge, as evidenced by the beautiful 14 acre park. The seventeen hectares of vineyards are planted with 65% Merlot & 35% Cabernet Franc. Depending on the characteristics of the vintage, the wine matures in barriques for 16 to 18 months.

The special quality of the great vintage 2016 resulted in what is probably the densest chat so far. Martinet in general, powerful and substantial, the very long finale is soft and voluminous. The wine also tastes great when young, but you can also let it ageing in the cellar for a long time.
