Roxanich is the pioneer in Croatian viticulture for orange and natural wines. Inspired by the winemaker Josko Gravner from neighboring Friuli, Mladen Rozanic began producing his own wines in Istria around the turn of the millennium. He relies on traditional methods, some of which come from antiquity, and on mash fermentation also for white wines, which leads to so-called orange wines. He quickly gained a large following internationally, today his highly individual wines are available all over the world and are true cult objects of the natural wine scene.
In case you are not familiar with this type of wine, its aromatic and structure has little to do with conventionally produced wines. Oxidative notes are just as important here as tannins in white wines. Indulge in a completely new taste experience. In addition, these plants are excellent food companions.
