Miguel Torres is one of the most important wineries in Spain. Founded in 1870 in the Penedes wine-growing region, it is now represented in many regions of Spain and a winery has even been founded in the USA and Chile. The high quality of the wines from the individual regions is fascinating. Innovation has always been the driving force at Torres, in 1964 Cabernet Sauvignon was planted and thus established the success story of the Torres Gran Coronas Etiqueta Nera, whose 1970 vintage took first place at the 1979 Wine Olympics in Paris.
