At the winery Dr. Bürklin-Wolf not only offers Riesling, but also the Weissburgunder (that's how it's spelled here) is an enrichment of the range, this Burgundy variety is also bottled here in a rather elegant and fresh way.
The vines for this dry Weißburgunder Gutswein grow on federal sandstone and clay soils in the municipality of Wachenheim on the Palatinate Mittelhaardt. This wine is grown biodynamically to give the best and very typical results. Despite the warm 2022 vintage, the Weissburgunder Gutswein is dry from Dr. Bürklin-Wolf is surprisingly fresh again, with a lot of delicacy and just 12% alcohol.
The Weißburgunder Bürklin-Wolf goes well with many occasions, river fish, vegetables, pasta dishes, buffets, etc. A wine that almost always goes well and tastes very good to many people.
