The Pinot Blanc grape variety is the white wine grape most commonly cultivated in South Tyrol. There are good reasons for this. Hardly anywhere else on earth does this Burgundy variety thrive so well. The cool night winds of the Alps ensure a balanced formation of aromas, excessive alcohol levels are rare here, which emphasizes the finesse of this variety, which elsewhere quickly produces lush and heavy wines.
The Weissburgunder or Pinot Bianco from St. Michael-Eppan offers exactly this taste experience. It is present but not intrusive, fresh but not thin and perfectly balanced. An excellent white wine of classic style and very typical of its origin. Have fun in the glass!
