The 2016 Vin Jaune Côtes du Jura by Eric Thill has incredible intensity, straw, walnuts, fine oxidation, white fruits, a great nose. It has a lot of power on the palate, a package of extract and acidity. This Vin Jaune has something that I've missed in almost all previously tried specimens, namely the power on the mid palate, the final grip of the extract. A giant. Breathtakingly good, actually close to perfection!
