Taittinger Champagne Brut Reserve 1.5l

Pierre-Emmanuel Taittinger is the founder of the world-renowned champagne house Taittinger. Founded in the 20th century, the champagne house has been run by the Taittinger family ever since.

With 288 hectares of vineyards, the sparkling wine producer's growing area is the third largest winery in Champagne. 37 different crus are produced on the calcareous soil of the region, which has been certified as an ecologically very valuable asset.

When making the Taittinger Champagne Brut Reserve, the founder wanted to make a sparkling wine that I had no vintage compared to many other wines. It was an honor to create a champagne that combined consistency and quality. Because of this, the assemblage, which consists of forty percent Chardonnay, 35 percent Pinot Noir and 25 percent Pinot Meunier, is stored for at least three to four years. During this time it reaches its full aromatic maturity and thus its constant balance and elegance. On the nose, Brut Reserve has fruity notes of peach. A combination of white flowers and a touch of vanilla are also noticeable. The fruity aromas are also reflected on the palate, presenting itself harmoniously and delicately. This makes the Taittinger Champagne Brut Reserve the ideal companion for aperitifs.
