The red T-Cuvée of the Cantina Tramin is a Rosso Dolomiti IGT that represents a fruity-fresh wine style, an excellently made wine for every day. It consists of the grape varieties Pinot Noir, which provides fruity elegance, Vernatsch (=Italian Schiava), whose part is the lightness and freshness, and Merlot for the body and the red color.
The T-Cuvée series is new in the range of the Tramin Winery and should offer a lot of pleasure for less than ten euros a bottle. The vines grow on calcareous clay soils in South Tyrol, at an altitude of between 200 and 550 meters. Due to the cool night temperatures, the berries develop a lot of aroma and always remain cool in aroma, i.e. without jammy notes.
The red T-Cuvée is fruity, but consistently dry with less than two grams of residual sugar per liter, which makes it lively and fresh. You can serve it on many occasions, as an uncomplicated red wine for larger celebrations, for summer barbecues, also slightly chilled, and of course with traditional South Tyrolean dishes such as cheese dumplings, bacon or goulash.
